Q: What is the advantage for Michael Waltrip and Jimmy Johnson to run the duels? It seems like they can only tear up their cars and go to the back for the 500. Can they just make a lap and pull off?

Answered 02/13/08 22:57:25 by Chad Sitler

A: The entry blank for the Daytona 500 requires all drivers to run the Gatorade Duel qualifying races. Once in the race, they could run it however they would like.

Q: Please explain how the two races Thursday work in the 500 qualifying next weekend.

Answered 02/13/08 22:56:33 by Chad Sitler
