NEW YORK – May 14, 2008 – SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI), the Official Satellite Radio Partner of NASCAR, announced today its broadcast coverage for the 2008 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race Weekend.
On Saturday, May 17, SIRIUS will broadcast the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race (9:00 pm ET) live from Charlotte, NC on SIRIUS NASCAR Radio, channel 128. The non-points event features NASCAR’s best drivers competing under the lights at Lowe’s Motor Speedway for a $1 million first-place prize.

In addition to the race call on channel 128, SIRIUS will offer additional Driver2Crew Chatter™ channels that will give listeners access to the in-car audio of some of NASCAR’s top drivers. SIRIUS subscribers can tune in to the following channels:
Channel 128 – Live race call (MRN)

The final spot in Saturday night’s field goes to the driver getting the most votes in the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Fan Vote. Fans can vote on nascar.com for one driver who did not qualify but finished on the lead lap of the NASCAR Sprint Showdown earlier that day.
On “NASCAR Day,” Friday, May 16, SIRIUS NASCAR Radio will broadcast live from 7:00 am–6:00 pm ET from the Sam Bass Gallery outside Lowe’s Motor Speedway, site of the NASCAR Day Telethon.
