Charlotte Arena Racing champ to be crowned

Championships are on the line Saturday when Arena Racing closes out its inaugural season at Cricket Arena in Charlotte.
Nick Hoffman, at age 14, leads the driver standings by 16 points over teammate Randy Burnett in the battle for the $10,000 prize that goes to the champion. Second pays $5,000.
Tickets for the finale are $5 and hot dogs, soda and beer are all $2 each. Prizes including a Honda four-wheeler will be given away to fans as well.
