Planner: 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Tuesday-Wednesday: Race fans can get their first glimpse of the 2013 model NASCAR Sprint Cup Series cars during on-track testing Tuesday and Wednesday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Approximately 15 Cup cars are expected for the test to help shake down the 2013 model cars, which feature much greater manufacturer identity. Among the drivers scheduled to attend are 2012 Cup champion Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth, who is moving moves from Roush Fenway Racing to Joe Gibbs Racing for in 2013.
Fans can park near the Smith Tower and enter the track at Gate 5B. Testing will runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Admission is free. Call 704-455-FANS for more information. The testing will not interfere with the tracks Speedway Christmas display.
