Tickets

Tickets for all races at Charlotte Motor Speedway can be purchased at www.charlottemotorspeedway.com, by calling the speedway ticket office at 800-455-FANS or at the gates on event days.

Friends and family four-pack tickets with hot dogs and soft drinks start at $39.75 per person for the Bank of America 500. Kids 13 and under get in free for Friday’s Dollar General 300. Kids’ tickets start at $10 for Saturday’s Bank of America 500.

Individual tickets beginning at $49 are available for Saturday’s 500 and as low as $25 for Friday’s Nationwide Series race.

Gates will open Saturday at noon.

Getting to the speedway

For fans coming from out of state, race officials recommend Interstate 85 exits 43, 46, 49 and 52 as primary routes to the track. From Interstate 77, use Exit 18 to reach U.S. 29.

However, officials urge Charlotte-area fans to use U.S. 49 and N.C. 29 to get to the speedway instead of taking I-85 to Bruton Smith Boulevard.

The Charlotte Area Transit System, the city of Concord and Charlotte Motor Speedway have partnered to bring race-day bus service from Charlotte to the track.

Starting from the Charlotte Transportation Center in uptown Charlotte, take the 79X Concord Mills Express to the Bank of America 500. Buses will run every 20 minutes from noon until 6 p.m. for the race Saturday night.

Return trips will begin immediately after the checkered flag and buses will be near the track’s main entrance. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the Charlotte Transportation Center at 310 E. Trade St. For more information, visit www.ridetransit.org or call 704-336-RIDE (7433).

Parking

Parking is free on many of the unreserved lots on Charlotte Motor Speedway property. A notable exception is the Tim Flock parking-camping area on Morehead Road.

Private or pay lots also are available in the area.

A tailgating lot with oversized spaces is located at Entrance P on Morehead Road behind Turn 2. Cost is $50 per spot.

Frontstretch handicapped parking is located at Entrance T and season-ticket parking is located at Entrance U, both off Bruton Smith Boulevard.

Fan Zone

The 10-acre speedway Fan Zone is located outside Turns 1 and 2. Souvenir trailers have moved to this location.

There will be a ferris wheel, inflatable slides, bounce houses and other activities for kids. Also included: corporate trackside displays and live entertainment.
