IndyCar Series champion Ryan Hunter-Reay convincingly beat NASCARs Brad Keselowski in the voting for the Third Quarter Driver of the Year.
The panel of 21 broadcasters and journalists gave 10 first-place votes to Hunter-Reay, who totaled 138 points, to Keselowskis six first-place votes and 105 points. Erica Enders, the National Hot Rod Associations Pro Stock driver, was third.
During the quarter, Hunter-Reay had wins at Toronto and Baltimore and clinched the series title at California Speedway.
