Edwards mum on contract

INDIANAPOLIS – Carl Edwards continues to maintain that the only contract he’s signed is his current one with Roush Fenway Racing, but one thing has changed – he no longer is willing to say whether he’s made a decision.
As recently as two weeks ago, Edwards maintained he had not made a decision about his future.
But asked directly about it on Friday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Edwards didn't want to talk about it.
“I’d just rather not say. I appreciate it, guys. You guys have been very good to me and I appreciate it.”
Edwards’ contract with Roush expires after this season. The rumors heard most often about potential destinations, should he not remain at Roush, has involved Joe Gibbs Racing.
