NASCAR: Who's hot and who's not
Monday, Aug. 23, 2010
With the Sprint Cup schedule showing a weekend off, some drivers will hit the road with the Nationwide Series in Montreal while others opt for a little quiet time. That makes now the perfect time to ponder who's hot and who's not.
HOT
Kyle Busch: Three wins in a weekend. Is a Cup championship next?
Clint Bowyer: Has moved into prime position to make the Chase.
Jeff Gordon: No Cup win yet, but no denying his consistency.
Bristol Motor Speedway: Nobody does night racing like Bristol.
Brad Keselowski: His driver intro swipe at Kyle Busch was funny, although his boss might not have liked it.
NOT
Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin: Chase leaders weren't at their best at Bristol.
Mark Martin: At least Martin will have another year to run for the Cup title.
Scott Speed: Seems to be on the outside looking in at Red Bull Racing for 2011.
