Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009
Kansas Speedway announced Thursday that it's Cup race sponsor would return in 2010, while another sponsor said it was expanding its role in NASCAR's top series.
Officials said Price Chopper and Kraft Foods would sponsor the Oct. 3 Cup race at the Kansas track, while another contract announced Thursday will keep the Heluva Good! brand on the Cup event at Watkins Glen International through 2011. The road course event in New York state is scheduled for Aug. 8.
The Heluva Good deal includes title sponsorship for Michigan International Speedway’s Cup race June 13.
