Nationwide schedule set for Bayne

AVONDALE, Ariz. – Driver Trevor Bayne is expected to run a full schedule in the Nationwide Series next season for a team that will be co-owned by Michael Waltrip and Gary Bechtel.
A formal announcement was expected to be made Friday at Phoenix International Raceway.
Bayne, an 18-year-old native of Knoxville, Tenn., has made 14 starts in the series this season. He’s finished seventh twice and won a pole at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Clermont, Ind., in a Waltrip-owned car.
Bayne finished fourth in the series standings in the Camping World East Series in 2008, with a win, two poles and eight top-10 finishes.
