LOUDON, N.H. - Asked who makes the decisions at Richard Petty Motorsports these days, driver Kasey Kahne couldnít come up with an answer.
Since the announcement last week of the organizationís intent to merge with Yates Racing and the subsequent release days later of former vice president and managing director of competition, Mark McArdle, there seems a lot of confusion surrounding the teamís future.
ďThere are not a lot of answers out there right now,Ē Kahne said Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. ďI donít know if thatís because weíre in the middle of a lot of things, but we just donít seem to have a person in that position.
ďI think Robbie Loomis is supposedly going to be that guy, but I donít think that he is yet. Is it Foster (Gillett, co-owner)? You canít get anything out of Foster.
"When youíre in things, you still need to keep your team and your guys, your company behind you knowing whatís going on and we donít have that.Ē
