LOUDON, N.H. - Asked who makes the decisions at Richard Petty Motorsports these days, driver Kasey Kahne couldnt come up with an answer.
Since the announcement last week of the organizations intent to merge with Yates Racing and the subsequent release days later of former vice president and managing director of competition, Mark McArdle, there seems a lot of confusion surrounding the teams future.
There are not a lot of answers out there right now, Kahne said Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. I dont know if thats because were in the middle of a lot of things, but we just dont seem to have a person in that position.
I think Robbie Loomis is supposedly going to be that guy, but I dont think that he is yet. Is it Foster (Gillett, co-owner)? You cant get anything out of Foster.
"When youre in things, you still need to keep your team and your guys, your company behind you knowing whats going on and we dont have that.
