Jeff Burton’s No. 31 Chevrolet ran fast enough to get him a fourth-place finish Sunday, but an issue with the fuel system might have kept him from having an even better day.
“We kept losing spots in the pits because we had to wait for the fuel,” Burton said. “It was just some sort of mechanical issue. …We really worked hard and got the car driving well.
“…These little bitty things keep taking us out of a chance to win but we’ll keep fighting and see what we can make happen.”
