Gappens headed for New Hampshire

Jerry Gappens, senior vice president of events and marketing for Lowe's Motor Speedway, was named executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Tuesday.
Gappens, 46, will take over in Loudon, N.H., once Speedway Motorsports Inc. completes its $340 million purchase.
Gappens, a native of Windfall, Ind., came to LMS in 1993.
