Tony Stewart said it shouldn’t be hard to understand why the top seven drivers in Sunday’s finishing order were all drivers in this year’s Chase.
“That’s why they got in the Chase,” Stewart said.
“It doesn’t take much rocket science to figure out why they’re all there.”
Stewart said he settled into for his third-place finish in the final run after seeing Jeff Gordon get away for second.
“I got by Kyle (Busch) and we closed in on Jeff a few times. But we can’t be disappointed by a third-place run here today.”
