Ratings are in for Vegas Cup race

The coverage of the Las Vegas 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last weekend scored a 6.3 rating with a 13 share, an increase of two percent from last year’s race. The telecast also outdrew the NCAA Selection Show on CBS by 47 percent.
The figures, released by Nielsen Media Research, show that NASCAR on Fox was the highest-rated sports telecast of the weekend. This was also the third-consecutive year that NASCAR has outdrawn the NCAA Selection Show.
