closeBrad Keselowski released from hospital after crash in Busch race

Rookie driver Brad Keselowski, airlifted to a hospital after crashing in Saturday night’s Busch Series race, has been released from Loma Linda University Medical Center.
Keselowski was released later Saturday night after undergoing CT scanning and X-rays of his left ankle and chest. Several hours earlier, he was in a four-car crash midway through the race.
The accident sequence began when A.J. Allmendinger, J.J. Yeley and Eric McClure bounced off each other while jockeying for position heading into turn one. Allmendinger slid down the banking, where he clipped Keselowski and sent him hard into the wall.
Keselowski’s car went up the wall and became momentarily airborne before bursting into flames. It slid several hundred yards along the top of the wall before flopping down on what remained of its wheels.
The race was halted for 28 minutes, and Burton was the eventual winner.
