    Drivers already lock in for the Daytona 500

    Based on last season’s car owner points, the following drivers are assured a starting spot in Sunday’s Daytona 500. Before the rule was adopted in 2005, the only drivers locked in the field before the qualifying races were the front-row qualifiers.
